Artist Development & Growth Partner

In:House | Remote | Freelance | Commission-only | Immediate start available

Know electronic music? Good at building relationships? Help us connect ambitious artists with the support they need.

In:House is a founder-led electronic music artist-management and development business. Our six-month programme supports DJs and producers with their music, artist identity, professional assets and career strategy.

We’re looking for a proactive freelance growth partner who understands the scene and can identify artists who could genuinely benefit from working with us.

This is an opportunity to combine music-industry knowledge with relationship-led sales—not generic cold calling or pressure-selling.

The opportunity

You’ll find and engage suitable DJs and producers, understand their goals and introduce them to In:House’s paid artist-development programme.

You should be comfortable starting conversations, explaining an offering clearly and following up professionally. We’re interested in quality introductions that lead to suitable enrolments—not inflated contact lists or promises we cannot deliver.

What you’ll do

  • Identify electronic artists whose music, goals and circumstances make them potential programme candidates.
  • Build relationships through your existing network and relevant artist communities.
  • Start thoughtful, personalised conversations about artists’ development needs.
  • Explain the programme, pricing and next steps using approved information.
  • Qualify interest, readiness and ability to commit before arranging a conversation with the founder.
  • Support follow-up and handover through to enrolment.
  • Keep a simple record of introductions, conversations and outcomes.
  • Represent In:House honestly: no guaranteed signings, bookings, income or industry access.

What we’re looking for

  • A genuine interest in electronic music and familiarity with its artists, labels and communities.
  • Confident, personable communication and strong follow-through.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to turn relevant conversations into opportunities.
  • A working understanding of music production, releases and the challenges developing artists face.
  • Familiarity with artist development, PR, EPKs or music marketing.
  • The initiative to organise your own freelance activity and maintain professional relationships.

Experience in sales, artist services, promotion, events, music marketing or community-building would be useful. An existing relevant network is an advantage. Formal music qualifications are not required.

You do not need to be a production engineer or PR specialist, but you should understand the services well enough to have credible conversations.

Commission

This is a commission-only freelance opportunity. There is no basic salary, retainer or guaranteed income.

Successful enrolmentProposed commission
Standard £1,500 pay-in-full programme£150
Discounted pay-in-full programme10% of the programme fee actually received
Monthly-payment programme£60 one-off referral commission

The monthly-plan figure above assumes a flat £60 payment, with no recurring commission on later instalments.

Commission applies to qualifying, attributed enrolments where customer payment has been received. Written terms covering attribution, refunds, cancellations and payment dates will be agreed before work begins.

Why consider it?

  • Remote working with flexibility over when and how you organise your activity.
  • The ability to work alongside other freelance clients and projects.
  • Direct collaboration with the founder of an independent electronic music business.
  • A clear connection between successful enrolments and commission.
  • The opportunity to use your existing music knowledge and relationships in a commercial setting.

This is best suited to someone comfortable with independent, results-based freelance work—not someone seeking a guaranteed monthly wage.

How to apply
